About The Teacher

Welcome to 6th grade!  I want to take this opportunity and introduce myself.  I am Mrs. Jennifer Brock, your child’s 6th grade teacher Math and Spelling teacher.  This is my first year at Riceville Elementary, but my fifth year teaching.  I recently moved from Memphis where I taught in the inner-city school system for four years at Double Tree Elementary.  I was born and raised in Sevierville, TN where my family still lives.  My husband and I moved back to East Tennessee after he graduated from UT Dental School.  He is practicing in Athens and we both are so excited to be a part of this community!  My past four years of teaching have been a wonderful experience.  I am looking forward to continuing that success!
